MyBinder ("we," "our," or "us") operates the MyBinder mobile application and web application at mybinder.online (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Service.

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture as provided by your authentication provider (Google or Apple Sign-In). We do not store your passwords — authentication is handled entirely by Firebase Authentication.

Collection Data

We store information about the cards you add to your collection, including card identifiers, quantities, conditions, and transaction history (purchases, sales, trades). This data is necessary to provide the core functionality of the Service.

Camera & Photos

The AI card scanner feature uses your device camera to identify trading cards. Card recognition is performed entirely on-device using an embedded machine learning model. We do not upload, transmit, or store your camera images or photos on our servers.

Usage Data

We collect anonymous usage analytics (via Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics) to understand how the Service is used and to diagnose crashes. This may include device type, operating system version, app version, and general interaction patterns. This data is not linked to your personal identity.

  • To provide and maintain the Service
  • To manage your account and authenticate your identity
  • To track your card collection, portfolio value, and transaction history
  • To sync your data between the mobile app and web app
  • To improve the Service and fix bugs

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share data with:

  • Firebase (Google) — for authentication, analytics, and crash reporting
  • RevenueCat — for subscription management and payment processing
  • Apple / Google — for in-app purchase processing

We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), secure authentication tokens, and access controls to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
